Our global family of change-makers has grown stronger, with 25 participants hailing from 11 countries: Cameroon, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, and Zimbabwe. They're tackling pressing challenges in areas such as health, malnutrition, women's empowerment, the environment, disability, water access, leprosy, child abuse, and much more.

At SPREAD THE SPICE 2023, we're bringing together over 25 passionate change-makers from 12 diverse countries who are driven to share their innovative solutions and engage in thought-provoking discussions that will uplift communities worldwide.

Since 2009, kanthari has equipped 258 social change makers from 53 countries. This has resulted in 160+ organizations that have been positively impacting the lives of 25,000+ people who are situated on the margins of society, every day. Through an immersive, hands-on, and intensive training program, participants acquire all the techniques, tools, methods, and skills they need to start up and run effective, relevant social and/or environmental projects/ initiatives/organizations. Solutions for issues/problems in different fields are being implemented: protection of the environment, water/waste management, peacebuilding, women empowerment, disability, alternative education/learning, and many more.
