As a volunteer and coach at Epiphany High School, one thing that I have always been affected by and noted is the condition of the grounds where students play, enjoy their meals during recess, and practice football on is in.

Students inevitably kick up dirt and breathe every last particle in, as it is everywhere. This means that sand is in their lungs, their food, their daily lives.

I have begun a project to turn their dirt ground into a beautiful grass field. I initially was prepared to only give ₹5,000 to this project, thinking it would cover all of the necessary expenses.

My goal is to have a soft playing surface that allows the students (and staff alike) to be able to relax and breath more comfortably during the school day and after hours.
Having a grass field will also benefit the sports teams as they have their final tournaments on grass grounds which has always been a disadvantage to our athletes since they are not used to playing on the different provided surface.

After contacting multiple sources for soil and Bermuda grass seeds as well as comparing prices, it is clear that ₹5,000 will not cover everything.

I am seeking help from family and friends, as well as the Epiphany community to help us complete this project. As I am only in India until March 28th, we are hoping to have it all finished before then!
