Please Support Ravi Prakash Silicon Andhra Sanjivani Hospital

Silicon Andhra started constructing a self-sustainable 200 beds multi-specialty Sanjivani Hospital, in an under-served area of rural Andhra Pradesh, India. This rural area lacks access to a well-equipped health facility despite the strong prevalence of malaria, typhoid, diabetes and cardiac issues as well as high infant mortality rates. Sanjivani Hospital aims to serve and support this part of rural Indian community by providing quality healthcare in a not-for-profit mode.
The Need
Through the SiliconAndhra adoption of Kuchipudi village, the intense need for a hospital has become apparent. Local people must spend more than a day’s earnings and a lot of time to travel to the nearest hospital, unclear whether they will receive treatment.
Access to basic healthcare in rural India has been extremely limited, despite the acceleration in economic growth over the last decade. This has had a vast impact on India’s population where over 60% live in rural areas. Inequity in India’s healthcare system has led to the proliferation of highly preventable diseases. Women and young children are among those most impacted:
· 70% of all villagers have no access to well-equipped hospitals.
  • 50% of all villagers never had any preventive medical care
  • 30% of all babies are likely to be permanently stunted due to lack of proper nutrition
The diseases that are the leading cause of death include dengue, malaria, diarrhea, cardiac arrest and maternal conditions. The problem is particularly acute in Kuchipudi and surrounding 150+ villages. The Sanjivani Hospital will focus on primary care and treatment of these preventable diseases through medication and education outreach for prevention.

Silicon Andhra built Sanjivani Hospital in Kuchipudi village with the support of generous people like you. The Goal of the RaviPrakash SiliconAndhra Sanjivani hospital is to provide quality and affordable healthcare to people in 150+ villages around Kuchipudi. In the last one year, the Out Patient (OP) Department served 15,762 patients and 2421 patients were taken care in Emergency Room (24/7). More than 20 lives were saved in critical cases of accidents, snake bite and poison consumption.

Would like to start In Patient (IP) services very soon in early 2020 after procuring all the necessary medical equipment and hiring the doctors and other personnel. Initial focus is to start with Woman & Child Care (Gynecology & Pediatrics) departments. Every Rupee you donate to RaviPrakash SiliconAndhra Sanjivani would be a gift of life to many. Sincerely appeal to you to donate generously. Please spread the word with your family, friends and relatives. Thank you very much for your support!

All your donations are tax deductible as per Section 80G of I-T Act.
