Meet Shobha, a 28-year-old from a humble background. Her father works as a security guard, and her mother, who is also dealing with health issues, is a homemaker. Shobha is facing an uphill battle against a rare illness known as Takayasu Aortoarteritis, which has left her with recurrent strokes and weakness on one side of her body. This struggle has gone on for a while and has taken a financial toll on the family.

Shobha's current treatment isn't providing the results she desperately needs. Her doctors have recommended a new medication called Actemra (tocilizumab) to improve her chances of recovery. However, each dose of Actemra comes with a significant cost of ₹85,000, and she may require anywhere from 3 to 8 doses, in addition to hospital monitoring.
