                                      ITI-ROTARY COVID CARE HOSPITAL
  • The Rotary Club of Bengaluru Lake World has been on the forefront in the battle against COVID-19! From actively helping people through the COVID War Room, to personally following up on the well-being of everyone who reached out to us, we have worked hard with all our might. Inspired by this, we wish to help a lot more people in need of adequate healthcare. We reach out to you to help us in touching many lives. With an aim to help the underprivileged citizens, we intend to create a quality and affordable Hospital to support Covid Care in the current scenario. This Charitable Hospital will serve those living in Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural and Rural areas with demographics up to the border of Andhra Pradesh. Come let’s join hands and make a difference.
    OUR MISSION:
With an interim goal of setting up the first phase of the hospital in four weeks’ time, at an estimated budget amounting to ₹10 Crores, we are reviving the ITI Hospital Complex, in K. R.Puram, Bangalore, Karnataka. The total area of hospital complex is about 3 acres and the area proposed to be used, for the first phase, is 35,000 Sq. Ft. The COVID Care Hospital Comprises of 150 Beds:-
100 General Ward beds with Oxygen.
30 High Dependency Unit (HDU) beds.
20 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds.
    OUR PLAN OF ACTION:
*Preparing existing wards to support Covid patients by creating the necessary hygienic environment and facilities, i.e. Oxygen feeds, etc.
*Providing mandatory external infrastructure like Oxygen Generator and Oxygen Storage of adequate capacity, for the Covid Care hospital to function efficiently.
*Providing equipment for Hospital management, patient admission, treatment, billing, discharge, medical records management and associated services.
This proposal of Rotary has been approved by the management of M/S ITI Ltd formally with a mandate to make the hospital operational before mid-June 2021.
    OUR VISION:
To ensure sustainable operations, This Not-For-Profit Hospital will transform to a Super Specialty Hospital for the underprivileged, once the COVID related cases recede. Expanding the hospital and scaling up the medical infrastructure over about 2,00,000 Sq Ft, we hope to serve the community at large in need of appropriate and quality medical care.
