My Father Santhanam Ramanujam has Renal cell carcinoma 4th stage. The cancer started from Kidney and spread through lymph nodes to other parts of the body. We started treatment by giving sunitinib 50mg tablet because of the side effects my father stopped taking sunitinib. Then we started giving pazopanib 800mg after three months PET scan was taken and according to report the resistance of drug by the cancer cell. Then we started with bevacizumab+ interferon injection but after 20cycles cancer formed resistance. Now doctor suggested taking immunotherapy (Nevolimab) at least 20 cycles, per cycle cost 2 lakhs which I cannot afford. I request for financial assistance
My father is taking treatment in Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre from last month. He started taking axitinib (chemotherapy) 10mg drug. But the drug is not very effective. So the doctor suggested taking nivolumab(immunotherapy) which is around 2lakh which I can not afford.
