This is a 9 year old child of our house maid who is a class 3 student. This child had been diagnosed with Pulmonary Atresia a very rare heart disease is a form of heart disease in which the pulmonary valve does not form properly. It is present from birth (congenital heart disease). The pulmonary valve is an opening on the right side of the heart that regulates blood flow from the right ventricle (right side pumping chamber) to the lungs.

Her Father is working as a housekeeper in Spic factory premises who is earning a salary of Rs 6000 per month, and her mother who works as a house maid. Both the parents are illiterates.

The operation cost comes to Rs 8,00,000/ for which an association had come to their aid by giving assistance to the tune of Rs 6,00,000/ through Mr Balamurugan who is a senior officer of Karupasamy.
