Sanchita is our 14 years old daughter suffering from Thalassemia ( Beta Thal Major) since birth. She lives with us in Raipur and is a bright student at Holy Hearts School.
Given her medical condition, she has been undergoing a blood transfusion of 2 units every twenty days for the last 14 years. We are eternally grateful to many of you, who have been her life’s savior by donating your precious blood for her and extending emotional and moral support.
Medical science has shown us rays of hope for her. As advised by acclaimed medical professionals, she needs to undergo Bone Marrow Transplant surgery for a long-term cure.
This is a high-risk surgery and time taking procedure but is extremely critical for her.
This procedure will happen at MAZUMDAR SHAW MEDICAL CENTRE ( A UNIT OF NARAYANA HEALTH)- in Bangalore.
As advised by the doctors, this surgery must happen at the earliest and we are yet to admit her to the hospital.
Besides being a high-risk surgery, it is also a very high-cost procedure. So far we have spent more than 10 lacs through all possible means but we will need additional 56 lacs to support her complete treatment.
