This is a desperate call for help, my last resort. I've lost both my grandparents to Covid. The treatments for both have set us back tremendously. Under extremely desperate circumstances, we had to borrow several loans from money lenders on very high monthly interest rates (the principle amount of which doesn't get deducted unless the whole amount is paid back in total) to clear off the hospital bills and the cost of oxygen cylinders and medications at home. We do not have any assets or financial means to return the amount in total. The monthly interests are so high that it only results in taking more loans, which is not feasible at all now. My father is a cab driver and he had to stop going to work to constantly take care of them. Due to all this added pressure on our already strained finances, we haven't been able to pay our house rent for 5 months now, including electricity bills, due to which we have been told to vacate the house by the end of May 2021. Our landlady has threatened to file a case against us if we don't. We do not have any financial resources to pay off the amount including the electricity bill by the end of the month, and then move to some other place. Please help us cover the cost of these bills and the debts so that my family can come out of this distressing situation and try to rebuild our lives going forward.
