We are Barish NGO, a passionate group of volunteers from Rishikesh, organizing a Cleanliness Drive on May 29 at Phoolchati Ghats, followed by a soulful Band Performance to honor our rich cultural heritage.
🧹 Our Mission
The Ganga, revered as a purifier of sins, has descended from the heavens to cleanse us. Now, it's our turn to help cleanse the surroundings we've sullied. Our objectives are to:
Clean the Phoolchati Ghats, removing waste and restoring its natural beauty.
Educate the community about the importance of maintaining cleanliness.
Celebrate our culture through music, fostering a deeper connection with our roots.
🎶 Why a Band Performance?
Music transcends boundaries and speaks to the soul. By blending our cleanup efforts with a traditional band performance, we aim to:
Attract more volunteers and community members.
Inspire collective responsibility towards the environment.
Create a memorable experience that intertwines service with celebration.
💰 How Will the Funds Be Used?
We're aiming to raise ₹30,000 to cover essential expenses:
Cleaning Supplies: Gloves, masks, gunny bags.
Volunteer Refreshments: Water stations (volunteers will bring their own bottles).
First Aid Kit: To ensure everyone's safety.
Band Setup: Basic equipment and logistics.
Miscellaneous Expenses: Transportation, promotional materials, and contingency funds.
