My brother, Sagar Kapoor, aged 35 years has been suffering from Epilesy ( A disorder in which nerve cell activity in the brain is disturbed, causing seizures) since 2002. He has been on heavy medication for last 19 years due to which he has not been able to pursue active professional life and earns a meager annual income. Sagar is married and has a two year old son.

Sagar along with his wife and parents had got infected with COVID 19 in first week of May. Since the day symptoms occur he has been under the medical supervision of senior doctors of Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh. On 10th day of COVID infection his Oxygen saturation suddenly fall from 94 to 62 overnight. He required immediate hospitalization and after many efforts an ICU bed was arranged at Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital, Sector 110. For last 51 days he has been in ICU completely on oxygen support ). His Lungs had got 100% infected and there is slow recovery in lungs. He will require 10-15 days more hospitalization for full recovery.

Till now hospital bill is Rs 14 Lac out of which family has managed Rs 9 lacs from savings. Expected cost of treatment for next 10-15 days is approximately Rs 3-4,lac. Family is looking for support to cover the medical bills of hospital. Any donations made will be solely used to pay the hospital bills.
