Indira P Mehra, a mother of 9 years old and wife of Sachin Mehra, is undergoing breast cancer treatment at Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad for the past 9 months.

Indira's chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation treatments have so far cost INR 20 lakhs.

Indira has been diagnosed with a rare triple negative breast cancer, which has put her life at risk. The cancer has now spread to her backbone and collarbone.

Indira's only option at this point is to start immunotherapy. This will cost the family INR 50-60 lakh, with the Pembrolizumab injection being the most expensive part. She requires 20 injections at a subsidized cost of INR 1.98 lakh per dose of 200ml. Sachin is down to his last penny because of his ailing elderly parents' regular substantial expenses.
