Hi, I am Arjun. My brother, Master Rushikesh, aged 17, has been diagnosed with “Relapsed ALL”, which is a form childhood cancerous tumour, and is one of the serious medical illness classified under the terminal category.The treatment of this medical condition requires intensive and invasive treatment followed by “Chemotherapy” and “Stem Cell Transplant”. The BMT is an essential part of this treatment to complete the therapy and needs to be done urgently.Rushikesh, has already undergon the invasive part of the treatment followed by “Chemotherapy” and is now awaiting the Stem Cell Transplant procedure. This is the final part of the therapy to complete the treatment and is essential, failing which, the procedures undergone till date may not yield desired result.
There are a very few recognized Medical Institutes in India who have the necessary infrastructure and the expertise to provide paediatric transplant surgery under the able care of competent medical professionals.
M/s. Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute is one such institution and Master Rushikesh is scheduled to undergo the said essential procedure in the week beginning September 08, 2017. He is required to be an in-patient at the said Hospital for about EIGHT Weeks.
We have been able to manage finances for treatment of Rushikesh till now from own funds and help and support from my Family members and close Friends.
However, this part of the therapy is most costly and is estimated to cost about Rs. 40 Lakhs. (Estimate and Appeal for assistance from the treating Oncologist and Surgeon Dr. Santanu Sen is attached herewith)
This part of the treatment being most essential for the success of the treatment done till now, and I having now exhausted almost all my resources to garner requisite funds to support the treatment costs; am left with no other alternative but to approach our Organization for support.
Hence, this earnest appeal to please extend the maximum possible financial assistance to support the costs of the treatment which I am sure will be a life saviour for my brother.
