Roshni Chakma, from a remote Udaipur-I village, Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh state has admitted her father( Chandra Shekar Chakma) in Damini Nurshing Home a hospital in Dibrugarh town of Assam. Her father works as a daily wage labourer in construction sites. He has been suffering from kidney stones since a year now, but due to lack of money and medical facilities back home he was forced to ignore the disease for a year until he was almost urinating blood with lots of pain. Roshni have 2 siblings who are studying in college and school. Now, Roshni being the eldest daughter who also studies in college asked her family and relatives to help her admit the father in a hospital. The medical test has diagnosed him with severe kidney stones and being adviced to operate, the cost of operation in INR 85000. Being a daily wage labourer, he is unable to afford the amount for operation. He is the sole earner in the family. The studies of Roshni and her siblings depend on the father's earning.
