We are here to seek help from you for supporting a friend to get his livelihood and dreams back, which was lost due to theft of his expensive equipment and tools for photography. The incident not only cost him his projects but also affected his motivation & mental well being

Rohan Shahi is a professional photographer/ cinematographer from Uttarakhand, India who has been passionately pursuing his quest to capture the beauty of our world around, including astrophotography, through his lens and bring it closer to people like you and us. His spectacular pictures have given his audience a glimpse of the breathtaking beauty he has experienced on his trips.

He has been awarded the opportunity to shoot for like Samsung, Abu Dhabi Tourism Board, Xiaomi, Goibibo, and many more.  Like many digital creators , Rohan earns his main stream income from the shoots and opportunities he gets on the digital work, through presentation of his artwork and talent.

On that ill fated day, during a bike ride to a shoot, Rohan lost his most performing and high end gear which he used for his brand shoots and campaigns. This included a Sony A73 camera and a lens, both bought by his blood and sweat. 

*A police complaint was lodged, but there have been no concrete leads so far.*

For a freelance professional like Rohan, every paying project is a boon, and allows him to pursue his passion while sustaining himself. 

He reached out on his social media page for help and for people to even lend their camera for support so he wouldn't lose out on campaigns. Even though a few of friends and we'll wishers came forward to pitch support or help find the equipment, nothing concrete could be worked out. Ever since, not only has this financially impacted him, but even his confidence and mental well-being. 

Here we are now, trying to raise funding to buy him the same version of the camera and lenses back, because he that was not only his livelihood but also impacted the projects that he had to deliver and get paid for. For hustlers like us, they are not just our ways to earn but also our passion for which every penny is earned with struggle and hard work. Your help could mean the world to him!
