Hi Friends
Need your help to support my Sister-in-Law's 5 year old son Rishi, who is suffering with Autoimmune Encephalitis.
He has been diagonised with Autoimmune disease and he is in induced Coma for the last two weeks. Autoimmune encephalitis refers to a group of conditions that occur when the body's immune system mistakenly attacks healthy brain cells , leading to inflammation of the brain. People with autoimmune encephalitis may have various neurologic and/or psychiatric symptoms. He is under Ventilator support for his survival, given the COVID situation Ventilator availability is minimal and it is provided on Priority basis in any of the hospitals, hence we could not get admission at AIIMS even after multiple attempts.
My Co-brother is the only bread winner of the family and he has already spent 12 lakhs towards the medical treatment. Current treatment costs about 1.25 lakhs per day for ICU charges, Ventilator, Specilaist Doctors and Medicines. If the condition does not improve further for his Seizure to stop it would require Plasmapheresis.
He needs all your blessings and prayer. His family will be grateful to you for your help in any kind to their son's treatment. Even any small amount will help.
