Since 2010, Mr. Maghav Gupta, a social worker, saw the need to help people who were in need and funded so many people and provided for them from his own pocket, with a complete motive to help the downtrodden, uplift and make their lives better. After all those years of serving people, he knew he had to take it up a notch and do more for the people, that’s when Rekhas Seva foundation was established on 6th October 2020.
With no help from any Governmental organization, he self-funded more than 200 smartphones to students who couldn’t afford going online, consequently, he distributed over one lakh books to schools across Goa to assist those who were in need.
Hospital linen, oxygen concentrators were donated to the hospital to help with the overburdened hospital system and provide some sort of relief to them. Furthermore, as a way of thanking the Goa police for their selfless service and support during the Covid-19 lockdown, he distributed masks, PPE kits, towels, bed linen to them.
Mr. Maghav looked around at the ones in despair, he wanted to help and uplift them, when he did this and found solace in giving, that he wanted to take it a step ahead and do more for the people who could not do anything for themselves.
