Story

This fundraiser is to support the young family of Ramya T who unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, June 8th, 2021 due to COVID. She left for her final abode leaving behind her husband and a 13-days old newborn girl baby.

Ramya and her family had tested positive for COVID on 23rd May 2021 and they have started medication from day one. She was very eagerly waiting to deliver the baby and expressed her eagerness to see the newborn with her friends and relatives.  She gave birth to a girl baby on the 26th of May 2021.   She succumbed to the virus after fighting hard for 15 days.

Ramya was a combination of super-smart, competent, hard-working, unassuming, warm, friendly, dependable, and always willing to reach out to help others. She worked from home tirelessly even during COVID Pandemic.  She will certainly be missed by everyone who knew her.

The untimely demise of Ramya has shattered the loved ones. But her memories are endless –her love for cooking, her connection and conversation with everyone, and most importantly, being a helping hand to family and friends. She has passed on so many lessons for us to learn from.

We are devastated to see Ramya gone at the young age of 28 and we want to continue to extend our support to her family during this hard time. She truly lived a soulful life. Her family has already used medical insurance options and has also incurred large out-of-pocket medical expenses. They now need our help. Let us come together to make life better for her husband, mother, father, and her 13-days old daughter, in our own little way possible.

As you ponder over this request, we request you to bear in mind that you will be helping not just Ramya, but also her newborn and husband.

No contribution is big or small-please do whatever you can to help.
