Help a mother of 3 kids fight Blood Cancer
We are raising funds for our cousin, Mrs. Priyanka Priyadarsini Das, who has been diagnosed with Blood Cancer. She has 3 kids; One 7 years old daughter and 1.5-year-old twins.
She was diagnosed with Blood Cancer in 2021 when her twins were merely a few months old. She was treated with chemotherapy(3 sets) at Mumbai. Unfortunately, just after six months of the therapy, the carcinogen cells have reoccurred. She just underwent her second chemotherapy in April 2022 at the same hospital. As per the doctor, she needs to have a Stem Cell Transplant treatment. At present, she is going through a BMT(Bone Marrow Transplant) pretest. The donor is her younger brother.
As the Transplant Center is having more than 1-year waiting period and there is a significant risk of the disease progression now, so she is advised not to wait so long. Hence we need to do the Stem Cell Transplant at a private hospital in Mumbai. The cost of the treatment would be 30 Lakh. However, it will be much more in private hospitals.
It's been months now that her lap is void of her kids, the buzzing of electronic devices has silenced the giggles, and her home has already lost the fun and frolics of a happy family. Yet, against all these, she longs to beat every adversary of hers to go back to the house that is yearning to be a home. The family has already spent all of their savings on the expensive treatment since last 1 year and are already in debt. Now it is impossible for them to proceed with the transplant without some financial support from people around us. Our sister is hoping to win this battle against cancer and go back to her kids one day.
