Swami Vivekanand Vidya Pratishthan's Priyadarshani Public School has a dedicated room allocated to library. The library room has no furniture and currently has only around 100 books available for 122 students. The school intends to promote the habit of reading books and hence we are looking for funds to buy at least 1000 books in next 1 year. This will help students be exposed to more books. We also need some furniture to keep the books. We are seeking to raise INR 200,000 (USD 2700 approx.) to purchase books and library furniture. We accept donations in INR and USD.

The school provides quality primary and secondary education to underprivileged  students from Weaker sections of the society living in remote areas of rural district of Ahmednagar in Maharashtra, India. Majority of the parents are earning minimum daily wages. The school promotes character building in students through skill based learning, reading, and social skills.
