For those of us privileged to know Saikat Bose from close proximity, he was a person of many qualities. He was very affable, intelligent, hardworking, ever smiling and determined, of course chatty and cheeky, back in SPA days. He continued his hard work and charm in professional career, and played a key role to develop a transport team in WSP India. He most importantly, will be remembered as a very caring family man, full of energy with greatest smile.
Saikat had flu like symptoms starting 23rd December’22 and when his health deteriorated, he was admitted to ICU in Birmingham, UK on 25th with lung infection. He fought for his life whilst in ICU, but on the fateful morning of 5th January 2023 he left us for his heavenly abode. We all will miss him, and as we use to call him in our Transport team, 'Halkat' why so soon! This is a profound loss for all of us, but much more to his family. He has left behind his wife our friend Pritha, and two children aged 11 and 4.
This fund raising is a very humble and small step towards raising some funds for the family left behind by Saikat's untimely demise. Please extend the help by reaching to all those who knew Saikat.
