Our friend K.A Premnath passed away leaving behind his young family, in an unfortunate hit and run accident at Poonamallee bye-pass road, Chennai on 4th Dec 2020. Premnath, known for his soft-spoken and kind heart, hails from Nagercoil and alumni of '99 Mechanical batch of Annamalai University.

His spouse (housewife) and a 7-year-old young son are devastated by his sudden demise leaving a big question on their family’s future.  Prem was the single breadwinner in his family with no financial back up from his immediate family.

Covid impacted so many lives and it did not leave out Prem. It took a bigger toll on him as well, as it took away his meager earning job. He was jobless for a long period and after a long struggle only recently he was able to find a temporary job to keep the family going. When things look coming back to normal, the family is now shattered with the irreversible loss of Prem by missing a dear father and supportive husband

The lorry that hit and ran is yet to be traced and the insurance claim is also a big question. Now the family is looking for help for their day to day needs and for their kid’s education. It is our turn to return all the love Premnath has given to us by supporting his family. The amount you contribute will greatly help to let his son continue his education and also support the family to begin a new life.
