Celebrating Prem 

In celebration of Dr Prem Vachhani’s life, we have created this fundraiser where we call you to donate to the charity he had established, Jeevan Asha Charitable Trust, which is now being run dedicatedly by his daughter and his wife. 

It was his 74th birthday on 09th January and it is his 2nd death anniversary on 16th January, 2024. 

Prem was an awe-inspiring human being, full of enthusiasm for everything he did. An anesthetist by profession, he was a kind soul, who helped others not only through his work and charity but through his everyday actions. Jeevan Asha Charitable Trust was his passion. 

Jeevan Asha has two main projects that we are currently raising funds for, with other smaller ones: 

- Project Roti 

- Project Shiksha 

Through Project Shiksha, we empower children with basic education, in the hope that they will change their own and their family’s future, collectively creating a brighter future for India and mankind. 

Through Project Roti, daily meals are prepared and distributed on the streets to people who cannot earn their own meals. We aim to feed the truly needy, such as the elderly, children, disabled, injured, those seeming to have mental health issues and other vulnerable poor people. 

Help us to get one step closer to the dream my dad had: a healthier and more empowered world and particularly an India where people’s basic needs are fulfilled and where no one sleeps hungry or on the streets. 

Papa believed that change will only happen if everybody does their bit. Do your bit in celebration of his life by supporting Jeevan Asha! 🙏
