Praveen Matangi and his wife Basavasri from Bangalore, India, got the worse news any parent would hate to get. Praveen is working in an IT company as an administrative support staff.
He got the news that his second son, 6 yr old Nehanth Varshil has Blood Cancer - Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
This 6 yr old little boy had his bone marrow biopsy tested. Hospital, Started treating his boy with Steroids initially with the blood platelets support. Today, started preparing for his first round of chemo. He has a long road ahead of his 2-3 years of treatment with the available facilities in India. But we are grateful that he can be treated! Please continue to pray and if possible donate towards his recovery.
Nehanth's family has not asked for help but Praveen Mathangi and his wife Shri will be missing job/work indefinitely to take care of his son. They have asked only for prayers but any support will really help.

~On 23rd Oct 2020, shifted to CMC Vellore due to the complexity of the treatment.

~ Completed 1st Chemo (one injection is Rs53,000), the boy Nehanth is stable, and showing great progress. CMC Vellore taking care of everything. Now platelet count is at 80,000.
~on 30th Oct 2020 discharged from hospital to avoid hospital infections and to prepare family mentally at their home after chemo it is going to be a long run 2-3 years and shifted to a nearby temporary home for 8 months Phase-1 treatment.
