Pratyusha Bannerjee became a Household name with her performance as 'Anandi' in Balika Vadhu, She became the favorite Daughter and Daughter in Law of India. Her unfortunate and untimely death in the year 2016 came as a shock to all her fans across the world. Her death shattered her parents to the core. Pratyusha was a  down-to-earth and grounded personality, and she touched the lives of so many people with her simplistic way of living. She was a wonderful colleague, very passionate about her work, and extremely supportive.

Her parents Mr. Shankar and Soma Bannerjee for the last 5 years have been struggling to meet their ends after the unfortunate death of their beloved daughter. I request all of you and your teams for voluntary contributions to his family in this time of need.
