Prachi Jha is a bright 17 year old from Bhubaneshwar, Orissa. When she's not studying, she's working as a travelling tutor to little kids in order to make ends meet for her debt-ridden family. She dreams of being an economist some day, working at the Reserve Bank of India. For now, she's looking to focus full time on getting a degree in Economics from Asian School of Business Management, Bhubaneshwar. She's looking for your help in paying her tuition fee as well pay for her family's sustenance so that she can stop working and be a full-time student again.

Since the loss of her father 12, Prachi's family was left without much financial support. Prachi's mother, Upasana, took up the mantle of breadwinner in the unorganized sector. But when the pandemic hit, Upasana, lost most of her customers and was forced to borrow money to keep the family afloat.

Seeing her mother struggle, Prachi, an intelligent and empathetic child decided to travel to the houses of families where kids were in need of personal tutoring. She is teaching as many as 6 children in addition to studying for her own board exams and entrance exams. With the money coming in from her tutoring, the family is able to pay off about 75% of their rent, but for everything else, they're still racking up debts.

Upasana worries her daughter may not be able to get an education without help. Prachi was a model student, completing her education from Venkateshwar English Medium School thanks to half her fee being exempt. When Prachi was in 9th grade, she received a scholarship from SOF.
