My Uncle Prabin Kumar Roy has met with an accident with bike on 25th of October’19  incurring vital injuries in head, chest and legs and he was urgently  admitted to the ICU at Lower Assam hospital & Research Center, Bongaigaon. As according to the doctor his condition is very serious  and he has been on ventilator since his admission in Hospital.

He hasn’t gained consciousness since he has been admitted. We haven’t seen him wake up since he got admitted to hospital and it is very painful for us.

Very unfortunately my uncle belongs from a very poor background and he doesn’t have any health insurance . We are unable to move him to any other economical hospital until he is out of ventilator and gains stability and consciousness.

He has been in ICU since his admission and doesnot means and angles in our attempts to bear the medical costs.

As we do not hold enough funds to currently clear the outstanding bill, we've been asked to wait. This will in turn increase our ICU and ventilator expenses.
 
All savings of my Aunty and us has been washed away already and the daily expenses are extremely high.

Till now an amount of around Rs 4 lakhs is paid for his treatment in the Lower Assam Hospital. Due to financial constraints he has been shifted to Guwahati Medical College & Hospital and he has been admitted at Male Surgical Ward(Unit III + VI, Bed no 5). But the doctors are recommending  to immediately shift him in the ICU. But none of the ICU rooms in GMC is lying vacant. Hereso, private hospitals are only hope to save his life but we need huge financial support from all of you to do so.  We are expecting an additional amount of Rs. 8,00,000.00 and higher for his treatment.
