Hi my name is Aanya Rajput, I'm 15 years old.
I have founded Project Maahavaaree, an initiative that aims to provide reusable and sustainable cloth sanitary pads to every woman and girl in a rural village, in Uttar Pradesh, India.
Why I Am Raising Funds:
The village is home to approximately 1,750 women and girls, most of whom suffer due to the lack of affordable menstrual products. Disposable pads are expensive and unsustainable for many families. Reusable cloth sanitary pads offer a long-term solution, as they can be washed and reused for up to 5-10 years, dramatically reducing waste and recurring expenses.
However, to make this initiative successful, I need financial support. My goal is to raise 2lacs to purchase and distribute 10,000 reusable cloth sanitary pads —enough to provide one pack containing five pads for each woman and girl (above the age of 10 years) in the village. This will ensure that they have access to safe, hygienic, and sustainable menstrual products for many years.
Your Support Means Everything:
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will have a lasting impact. By supporting this cause, you are not only helping us provide a sustainable solution to period poverty, but you are also giving the women and girls of Baigaon the dignity, health, and opportunity they deserve. Together, we can break the cycle of period poverty and create a brighter future for this community.
Thank you for your generosity and belief in this mission. Your support will change lives.
