I am Sai Venkatesh, a software engineer from Hyderabad. I am raising funds for my wife Poojitha, who has suffered a Cardiac failure. She is only 25 and battling for her life.

The cardiac failure left her heart weak and dilated, and it is currently pumping at 20% (a minimum of 65% is required for the heart to function normally). She is now on ventilator support and medication. 

Cardiologists suggested that there is an immediate need for heart transplantation. But we must wait to find the donor on Jeevan Dhan, leaving us only two options until we find the donor.

Option 1:

LVAD – Left Ventricular assist device, for which the procedure will cost around Rs 1,50,00,000.

Option 2:

ECMO increases the risk when performing a heart transplant, which is mandatory.

Cardiologists suggested we go with option one or a heart transplant directly if we can find the donor soon.

The entire medical expenditure is estimated to be between 1.5 Cr and 2 Cr, and we have exhausted all our savings and insurance so far.
