My elder brother "Payod Kumar" had been diagnosed with Covid-19 on 19th April'21 and after a 1.5 months-long battle with covid, he tested negative.
But within 1 week of his recovery from COVID, his condition started deteriorating again and he was advised by the local(Bhagalpur)
doctor to take him to Patna on an immediate effect where he is now admitted to the ICU ward at Jagdish Memorial Hospital Kankarbagh, Patna.
After thorough medical analysis, it is found that he got a severe brain stroke that is a large-sized "Intraparenchymal Haemorrhage" in the left lateral ventricle is detected by doctors.The month long fever due to covid leds to a shoot in blood pressue which has resulted in this Haemorrhage and excessive bleeding inside the brain. At the same time, he has also developed a severe viral pneumonia infection in the lungs which is detected in the HR-CTscan of the lungs.
He is in ICU now and the doctor has advised him to go for surgery as soon as possible as this may lead to the worst outcome if not done soon.
The CT scan shows there is no sign of improvement seen from the past 1 week. His treatment in hospital is going on for past 2 months earlier COVID and now, this Brain haemorrhage so in the present scenario, they are running out of the fund for further surgery. Patna doctor has advised to take him to the MaxLife Hospital, New Delhi through Air ambulance which is way too expensive(Cost- 5.5Lakh for travelling only). As he is not in a condition to travel so this is the only option left with them but they don't have enough money to fulfil this.
Since Payod's Family is needing your financial help. Juli(Wife) with her two children aged 6 yrs and 10 yrs implore you to all kindly come forward, help Payod get his treatment done and save his life. So that he can earn bread for his family and live a happy life again.
Even a small contribution of Rs1 will make a huge difference. I am attaching all the medical reports of the patient. Please help us guys .
