PAHAD –Professional Assistance for Hill Area Development is a not for profit organisation registered as a Trust in 2018 in Himachal Pradesh. It has been set up by two alumni's of School of planning and architecture New Delhi.
With their small own contribution PAHAD has been providing support to 15-20 old people (senior citizens) in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh who are in dire need of nutrition, food and medical support.
With our small own contribution and personal loan, we have started on 15 August 2021, a social enterprise startup in the name of PAHAD ORGANICS at Sidhbari, Dharamshala Himachal Pradesh to provide livelihood support and employment to a group of 6 -10 person who have lost their employment in the month of august 2021 after working in an organisation for a period of more than 10 years. Now They do not have resources to take care of their families, children education, house rent and food etc.
At Pahad level, we are trying our best to provide them some kind of support in terms of employment but due to lack of resources it seems very very difficult. We are appealing all our friends and well-wishers to provide small financial support in such a difficult time.
Your valuable contribution will help us to provide wages/honorarium to atleast 5-6 persons for a year and will also ensble PAHAD organisation to acquire required inputs and infrastructure. It will also enable us to connect small hilly farmers with the market who have been practicing organic natural agriculture for long time.
For this initiative there is an immediate need of around Rs. 15 lakhs for a year for providing full time minimum honorarium /wages, infrastructure support etc.
The lack of resources and infrastructure is hampering us to move forward.
Therefore we are making an appeal to all friends and well-wishers for your kind generous small financial support.
