Empower Adolescents with Knowledge, Dignity, and Safety: Support Project Sachet
Imagine this: A 13-year-old girl hides stained clothes, confused and ashamed of her changing body. A boy faces ridicule for asking innocent questions about puberty. In India, 80% of adolescents navigate this transformative phase without basic health education—left vulnerable to shame, misinformation, and abuse. This isn’t a hypothetical scenario. Through our work, across 19 states and union territories, we have witnessed the struggles to understand their bodies and emotions firsthand. While we’ve reached 60,000 children in remote areas, this is just the beginning.
Project सchet is rewriting this narrative. We’re equipping 25 passionate trainers to deliver life-changing workshops on puberty, menstrual health, sexual/reproductive rights, and safe/unsafe touch (POCSO) to 7,000+ children in underserved Delhi NCR schools and communities. This pilot phase (March'25 to May'25) will lay the foundation for scaling sustainable puberty education nationwide.
