Behind every breath of free air lie countless stories of valour and sacrifice. Right from carving out our own country to fighting for it every day at the frontiers, hundreds of martyrs have laid down their lives for us.

As a tribute to the fallen heroes of our country, Paytm has partnered with Milaap and Vasantharatna Foundation to uplift the families of martyred jawaans of the Indian Army.

When a soldier sacrifices his life to protect the nation, their families are often left with little means of financial support. Vasantharatna Foundation aims to empower women from martyrs' families. It helps them rediscover their potential, provides financial and emotional counselling in addition to legal support as well as education and training for their children. It also aims to bring public awareness to the sacrifices made by every soldier on the borders.

How can you help

All funds raised will help provide educational scholarships, memorial awards, outbound learning programmes, computer basics, English communication and vocational training for families of martyrs.
