Story

There are times in everyone's life when they reflect on themselves and wish to do something to bring happiness and fulfillment to their soul. I, too, had a similar experience, and the idea of doing something for a good cause arose in my mind. I wanted to do something selfless for someone and contribute to society and that’s why I started “We Care” to help the Orphans and children that need our help.

Why orphans you ask? There is an unimaginable number of orphan children around the world. In fact, according to one definition or another, more than 140 million children are orphans. Unfortunately, statistics have dismissed some orphan children! Who counts those who live on the streets, in landfills, and in sewage treatment plants? How could you do that?

Perhaps the greatest tragedy of all is that we know how to turn tragedy into triumph...we just need more help and support in doing so! We know how to turn dreadful statistics into wonderful ones. And while helping children is a wonderful thing to do, the good you have done does not end there. It quickly spreads!

When we help orphan children, we benefit the entire world and global society.
Instead of causing harm to themselves and others, they grow up to be responsible, healthy adults who give back to the community rather than taking from it.

The good done spans generations.
When we give children what they need to THRIVE rather than just survive, we break the cycle that creates orphans in the first place, and the next generation of children will have YOU to thank for the fact that their parents did not abandon them...but instead raised them in a healthy and loving environment. There will be less crime, disease, and orphan children to care for!

As for the fund, I volunteered as a fundraiser for the Art Spark foundation. Through the medium of visual art and design, this educational nonprofit works to support the development of 21st-century learning and life skills in children. The funds will also be distributed to Angel's Orphanage, Sunshine Orphanage as well as UNICEF.
