Prem Niketan is our home for cancer patients and senior citizens. It is a unit of Prem Charitable Trust (Registration No.419/1999, 80G available). Prem Niketan was started in 21.11.2011. Prema Vasam is our mother home, it offers humanitarian services to mentally & physically challenged and less fortunate children in Chennai since 1999.
Prem Niketan is situated in Parameshwaramangalam a tiny village near Arakonam in Ranipet District, Tamil Nadu. The Social Welfare Department from Ranipet District has recognized Prem Niketan and offered all the permissions to run the home officially. Since this village is close to Kancheepuram Arignar Anna Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Institute and cancer is more prevalent in and around this area. The statistical study about cancer patients has confirmed the increase of cancer patients in this area. Since the number of senior citizens, as well as cancer patients, are increasing, there is an urgent need to make a couple of halls and a treatment cum Doctor’s room. The total area of the new upcoming building is 8000sq.ft it includes the ground floor & first floor. We started the work for the new building in 2018 but unfortunately due to lack of sufficient funds it has come to a standstill, here's where we hope to get your help and get the required funds to build our old age home at the earliest. To restart the work we need Rs. 5,00,000/- and to complete the construction successfully we need Rs. 50,00,000/-
