This pandemic poses a big challenge of drop-out cases amongst low-income schools (for kids of migrants and daily workers). One such case was presented to us by the M.H. English school in Malwani, Mumbai with 350 students from class 1-10, with a staff of 12 teachers and additional contract-based staff. Over 100 students of M.H school are in the midst of a financial and educational crisis which can result in the loss of their right to education. The parents of these children, though passionate for their children's education, are also currently in the midst of a financial crisis due to the COVID-19 lockdown.

Humane Warriors, in collaboration with M.H. English School, has helped in donating ration kits to 286 such families for the first 3-4 weeks of the lockdown. But that was only the tip of the iceberg since the parents are still finding it difficult to fund their children’s education. And this is where your fruitful contribution comes in. Together with the school administration, the teachers and your donations, we, at Humane Warriors, will be able to ensure that these bright students are provided with enough funds to continue their education so that they can brighten the future of our country tomorrow.

How will your contribution be used?

All funds collected in this campaign will go towards the education expenses of students of M.H School. In the tenure of the first two months, all 100 students will be supported with school fees. Choosing this time period would provide parents time to get back on their feet and help them recover from their financial crisis comfortably. After these two months, need-based scholarships will be awarded on a yearly basis to promising students. These students will also be mentored under the Humane Warriors Scholarship Program. We estimate to be able to fund at least 30 students with these scholarships. An overview of the estimated cost of the fee, including the cost for books, is presented below.

3. A donation of 15,000 INR+, warrants a beautiful video call with one of our lovely children. We would also like to extend a Mentorship opportunity with the kids.
