In view of the increasing number of COVID cases, NTR Memorial Trust has restarted its FREE Telemedicine services which helped hundreds of people recover during the second wave. COVID patients can participate in the ZOOM Call every day at 7.30 A.M IST and speak to Specialist Doctors to receive expert consultation. FREE Medicines and Medical Kits will be distributed to the needy under the aegis of NTR Memorial Trust.
During the Corona second wave, we have treated around 1500 patients and distributed around 29 lakhs worth of Medicines to the needy COVID patients. Oxygen Concentrators, Oximeters were also distributed to the needy. As committed, we have established One Oxygen generation plant at Kuppam (AP) and are in the process of establishing 2 more plants at Andhra Pradesh & Telangana worth of 1.3 Crores.
The initiative is to provide the patient with effective home treatment in the first week of Covid-19 symptoms. In a majority of the cases, the disease can be controlled with the right measures and cost-effective medicines. But most patients, due to lack of support and health awareness, end up in hospitals in the latter stages of Covid-19 symptoms.
With small-scale interventions by NTR Memorial Trust for hundreds and thousands of people, we prevent the need for expensive hospitals, we save lives, livelihoods, and people falling into poverty.
We aim to reach out to at least 15,000 (Fifteen Thousand) patients .We estimate that caring for each patient will cost between Rs. 500-750.
We understand that each of you has had a tough time coping with the pandemic ramifications these past 22 months. You made sacrifices, suffered through grief, and continued to help others as much as possible.
We humbly request you to help us rise to this challenge once again. As we continue to reach across more and more patients, the economics of scale will reduce the costs further. Every person saved will be another dream secured, another future reaching its potential. Every penny matters, so please donate what you can.
