Nova was only one month old when she was rescued off the harsh, cold winter streets in Delhi, injured and alone. Some kind of accident or attack left her without her use of her hind legs and she likely would not have survived if she hadn't been rescued. Thank to Paws for a Cause and several loving fosters, however, Nova has had a chance to grow up in relative safety and even improve her mobility somewhat through physio. Unfortunately, finding her a home is difficult, because most people don't have the capacity to care for a special needs puppy like Nova.
Despite her hardships, Nova is one of the sweetest puppies you will meet. She loves to cuddle and play and is an absolutely foodie - licking her lips eagerly in anticipation every time she sees food.
Like every dog, Nova deserves the chance at a comfortable and loving home and the healthcare and support she needs. The Greater Good organization in the USA, which works with special needs dogs, has offered to take on her case, providing her with a wheel chair, and helping her find a home - but they need us to fund her travel over to the United States. Please consider donating to help Nova get a second chance at life.
The breakdown of funds for her travel are as follows:
30,000 - Cost of Nova traveling in cargo
10,000 - Cost of Petfly transport agency overseeing Nova's transport through the airport onto the flight
4000 - Cost for her document papers
1500 - Cost to get her microchipped (a requirement for dogs coming to the USA)
Thank you so much for your support! Sending lots of wags and licks your way.
