I'm Nishtha Sethi, a second year undergraduate student at Shivaji College, University of Delhi. I am pursuing bachelor's in Economics. My father is a small businessman and my mother is a humble homemaker. I am a girl next door with big dreams and ambition. I have always proved my mettle in which ever field I have put my mind to. I have been a delegate at several innovation bootcamps, a participant at Winter School, IIM Ahmedabad, a Campus Ambassador at eDC, IIT Delhi and even been the face of multiple start-ups as the outreach partner.As the head girl of N.C. Jindal Public School for the session 2016-17, I took up several responsibilities of the student council. Besides, I was the Times NIE student of the year(2015-16). I strive to achieve excellence in academics by working as hard as I can.
I have recently been selected as one of the 300 delegates from over 90 nations for an international conference at Harvard (Harvard Project For Asian International Relations). It aligns greatly with my field of study and can give a quantum boost to my career. It's a moment of pride for me, my family and my college. However, there's a huge barrier between me and the opportunity. I don't have adequate finances to travel to the United States of America. My parents have already paid the conference fee-$400 and the accomodation fee-$200. We aren't in a position to afford the flight tickets however.
I would be glad to receive the smallest of contribution from you.
