Dear friends, family, well-wishers and all humanitarians,

My sister-in law, Naseema Begum wife of Abraham Ranjith (my brother) continues to be in critical condition at Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute, Hyderabad, India. Kindly recall that she was diagnosed with third stage cancer of blood and bone marrow or acute myeloid leukemia three months ago. The line of treatment charted for her was chemotherapy along with early transplantation of blood and bone marrow.

We needed about Rs. 40 lakh for the treatment when we floated this fundraiser which generated Rs. 13.42 lakh in the first two weeks. Since we were unable to pool the required funds, she was being administered chemotherapy and we were hoping and praying for her recovery without the need for a bone marrow transplantation.

However, her conditioned worsened and she was shifted to the ICU a fortnight ago.  Though she is being sustained with intense chemotherapy and other essential supporting procedures, her doctors are certain that the transplantation is compulsory and very urgent now.

We humbly request you to spread the message far and wide for other good souls like you to come forward and contribute to the cause. Please help us to save the precious life of Naseema for the sake of her two lovely children and her helpless husband.
