A Non Profit Foundation that aims to fight for the rights of Physically Challenged people, Spreads Awareness on Accessibility, and strives to create a Barrier Free Environment. Today, I come forward to you all requesting support for our campaign for 10 electric wheelchairs. Also, I am looking for Financial assistance for a couple of refurbished laptops for special needs students. The total cost of this equipment is around 5 lakhs Indian Rupees. Electric wheelchairs will provide them with ease of mobility and increase independence. Each electric wheelchair costs around 55,000 rupees. As we all know for people with special needs in India there are already less facilities, overwhelming medical bills, and other obstacles. Affording an electric wheelchair by themselves would be impossible. If we all join hands we will make that impossible, possible.

No amount is too small. Each and every rupee/dollar you donate will make a difference in those that will be benefiting from this campaign. WOW Foundation will take the responsibility of ordering the wheelchairs and ensure that the recipients receive them and benefit. As being a wheelchair-bound person and user of an electric wheelchair myself, I know the value of an electric wheelchair that allows for independently mobility with ease.

Now on the occasion of WORLD DISABILITY DAY, DEC 3, 2020. We want to make 10 more disabled people mobility independent.

Earlier we could make a Disabled Student independent by Gifting  a Power Wheelchair. His name is Jagan, studying Computers in Intermediate (Vocational) in Hyderabad. He has Locomotor Disability of 89%. Now Jagan is going to College regularly, independently.  He wants to become a Software Engineer.
