Dear all,
I am suffering from hereditary or genetically induced Cirrhosis of Liver (Cryptogenic). I had successfully managed or postponed the progress of this disease through medical management for past 2 years. Out of the four stages of liver disease, now I am in the last irreversible and incurable phase called “End-Stage Liver Disease”. The symptoms and physical difficulties at this stage are decompensated liver, hepatic encephalopathy, variceal bleeding, kidney impairment, ascites, and lung infections. I have consulted almost all four top hospitals in Chennai and one University in UK about my current stage. Everyone has suggested for liver transplant, at the earliest.
As on date, I am undergoing treatment at Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Porur, Chennai, India. As per the laws of the land, I have registered for cadaver organ with Transplant Authority of Tamilnadu. Since my immunity and liver functions are slowly degrading, I am in an urgent need to undergo transplant when an organ is available at the earliest. The overall estimate for transplant is INR 32 lakhs (refer attached letter). As on date, I have arranged INR 10 lakhs on my own and another INR 9 lakhs through crowd-funding using www.milaap.org. My former students and corporate colleagues who are settled across the globe are spearheading a larger campaign in their region. Still, I need to raise another INR 13 lakhs, at the earliest.
Do kindly support me in raising the funds either by contribution and/or by sharing this message across your networks.
