- Nagma (Thalassemia Major) got paralyzed on 22nd Feb 2019 due to poor back bone health
- She is bedridden. Even diapers are quite costly. Urine infections are common. She has bed-sores.
- Surgery is recommended but the doctor is worried that bone health must be improved before surgery can be done.
- Transfusions are a challenge. She takes transfusions at Safdarjung. Her HB dropped to 3 before the last transfusion
- Her father has serious health issues, brother and mom are also having problems.
- No source of income in family currently
