Mythri Charitable Trust has been involved in the pursuit of improving the lives of the special children of this society since 1982. Our school was started with bare minimum information and support for running the school. With the diligent research by our trustees and management, a curriculum was arrived at.
Singing, dancing, drawing, craftwork, pottery, candle making, spiral binding, screen printing, making of soft toys, greeting card making, soft wood crafting, paper mache, ceramic painting on pots, mask making, yoga and learning to use computers were drafted in a gradual process to improve hand and mind coordination. Various sports activities are encouraged and we have seen our students excel at various levels including the sports competitions at the city, district, state, and national levels. The walls of the school adorn the various medals of the students who have made a mark at these competitions.
Not just at sports, students are active in all cultural activities as well. They thoroughly enjoy the training towards the competitions as much as the main events themselves.
We have been able to exhibit our student’s talents through exhibitions. Our painting, jewelry, and candle exhibitions have always been a major hit with society. Not just this our children have also moved on and found occupation at several organizations, including CAVA and the Police Force.
These children have been able to move forward in life with the support of the benevolent donors of this organization. We humbly request philanthropists and donors to join hands in our efforts to make these special children cope and integrate with society. Please do support us so that the children’s skills and abilities are not hampered by the paucity of resources.
At the moment our most important requirements are a school building and also a school bus which can bring these special children to school.
There are about 30 students in the school,
The funds will be utilized for their travel expenses & Campus maintenance.
