About HOF
Home of Faith is more than just a place where those in need can seek comfort. It is a place that helps them all grow into strong and independent individuals who are capable of not only taking care of themselves but are also determined enough to help others who are in similar situations.HFC currently houses 50+ children aged between 4 years and 18 years from various social, economic and religious backgrounds all striving to earn their rightful place in the society as respectable citizens.

Our Vision
We are committed to rescuing especially children who are underprivileged, downtrodden, socially misled and are suffering due to forced child labor. We continuously work to add more children to get the benefit of our services.

Our Mission
To free the children from the bondage of child labor, slavery, forced work labor, reach out the street children through rehabilitation and rescue operation. To equip them to live inspiring lives to many more and they in turn uplift and develop the poor children of India.

Small Beginnings…..
Narayan used to work as a school teacher in the city. He grew up watching his parents supporting people in need and hence has always aspired to emulate the same.
Home of Faith Charitable Trust (HFC) began in 2007, with 3 children in a small ‘sheet house’, with a couple of pots and pans and a small stove. When they started, they did not even have mattresses to sleep on. His wife has been a huge source of encouragement and support since the beginning.

The Journey
In the beginning, Narayan managed the orphanage with his salary, supplemented with tuitions; he quit his job a few years ago to be able to dedicate his time to cater to the needs of these destitute children.
The children, themselves hail mostly from North Karnataka, Bangalore who have been rescued from gypsy families and devadasi communities. They are either orphans or with a single parent who is HIV infected.
HFC is currently HOME for 54 children in three homes that house boys, girls, and senior boys, respectively. Now, the children all live together as one ‘happy family’ which includes Narayan’s own 3 children.

HFC Way of Life
HFC imparts high standards of discipline and cleanliness amongst the children.
The most important aspect for any child to achieve his/her dreams is an exemplary education. The children at Home of Faith are provided with the best education possible. The children study in good English Medium Schools giving them a sturdy foundation.
HFC believes that every child is entitled to the right to live life in all its fullness and a strong education is a step in that right direction.

Road Ahead
We are focusing on stabilizing the organization to increase the quality of services by recruiting more staff and training of the existing staff.
To build our own home which can accommodate more children and cut down the monthly operation cost.
A school van for the children’s transportation as some of the schools and institutions are far away from the residential home.

 Founder Speaks
We begin our journey by giving Thanks to God. He has upheld this Home through 13 years of challenges, changes and meet every need. We have much to celebrate. As we look back over the past few years, we rejoice to see the fruits of this Home. The Home began with 03 young children in 2006. We have seen many children educated and finally graduated from our home, got good jobs, and some are living independently in Bangalore. We never dreamt so many children would be rescued from poverty and despair to live rich and independent lives. We thank God for his kindness and Blessings.
Home of Faith (HFC) currently takes care of 54 children. The Children’s Home pays for their school, educational, and medical expenses. As children graduate, we fill their spots with new young children in need. Here at the Home, we aim to care for all aspects of a child’s existence. we provide a high-quality English medium education, social needs, and also care for their healthy meals and regular medical care.

We are thankful for every single day to God who is supporting us through generous people like you. It wouldn’t be possible to run our Home for 13 long years.  I doubted myself when I started Home
I was scared what if I won’t be able to mange
I was scared what if the funds stop coming
I was scared what if something any kid
Every single day is a hurdle, but I didn’t give up  I kept pushing and motivating myself just because of one reason, I found happiness in sacrificing myself to shape these kids for the future. I believed they are the future.
I truly believe in the following quote:
“Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more.”
-H. Jackson Brown Jr.
‘Giving’ is one of the wonderful gifts that we are blessed with, it could be your time, money, clothes or food. It is such an addiction, try in once. Once you find the taste of giving you’re never going to give up on it.
Home of Faith runs till today with the generous donations made by people like you. It is not easy to run an NGO just by me it comes with a great cost. Please join your hands to raise these children for a better future.
