Help Mumtaz Begam Fight Sepsis and Recover from Emergency Surgery

My name is Sadiqua Fatima, and I am raising urgent medical funds for my mother, Mumtaz Begam, a 53 year old resident of Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, who is currently battling for her life.

Mumtaz Begam is a loving wife and mother of three daughters. A few weeks ago, she was diagnosed with Sepsis, a life threatening condition caused by the body’s extreme response to an infection. It has led to multiple organ complications, placing her in critical condition.
She was first admitted to a local hospital in Hazaribagh, where she was diagnosed with:
  • High blood sugar
  • Low blood pressure
  • Liver infection (resulting in jaundice)
  • Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
  • Gallstones
  • Hernia
  • Severe abdominal pain and bloating
Due to worsening symptoms, she was referred to Abdur Razzaque Ansari Memorial Weavers Hospital (Medanta), Ranchi, where she underwent emergency laparoscopic surgery for abdominal obstruction. She has now developed Acute Kidney Injury and is currently on ICU care and ventilator support.
We have already spent approximately Rs. 1,19,000 across both hospitals. Her ongoing treatment has generated a medical bill of nearly Rs. 7,00,000 in just 10 days. The estimated cost for continued care in the ICU, including medications, procedures, and recovery support, is an additional Rs. 8,00,000.

We’ve used all our savings, a limited insurance policy, and have taken loans but it’s not enough.

We urgently need your help. Any contribution small or big will make a life-saving difference.

With the hospital's permission, we have uploaded photos and videos of her condition to maintain transparency.

Please donate, share, and spread the word about this medical emergency fundraiser with your friends, family, and on social media.

Together, we can help Mumtaz Begam recover and return to her family.
