My name is Shrutidhara Kakoti and I am here to raise funds for my mother Mridusmita Kakoti who is 55 years old. She lives in Udalguri, Assam with my father. She is a housewife. She is suffering from Pott's disease for more than a year now. The infection has spread across her vertebral column because of which it is compressing her spinal cord. Because of the compression, the motor control of her lower body is completely lost and she is bedridden at the moment.

She requires immediate surgery as doctors suspect any more delays will cause her backbone to collapse, paralyzing her for the rest of her life. She is receiving medication in Nemcare Hospital but has not yet been admitted. Until now, we've spent about Rs. 300000. we've arranged amounts from savings & loans.
