While most of the families in India are gearing up for Diwali, sadly its not so festive season for few families during this pandemic. Ramaiah and his family are among those unlucky ones. Ramaiah a watchmen, who was already running under crisis as all his savings drained out during the lockdown, had a brain stroke on 5th of November, 2020 and his entire right side of the body is paralyzed. He under went MRI of brain and his Left CG was found infarcted. He was advised to be admitted for 5 days under the guidance of a Neuro Surgeon and as a basic procedure the hospital took the COVID tests of Ramaiah before admitting him. To his bad luck his H.R. C.T Chest report finds him COVID patient and now he needs to undergo his neurology treatment under COVID ward ( Which is even more expensive). The estimated cost for his treatment is around 2.5L plus he is advised not to work for 6 months and undergo physio therapy daily.
