MIND FORMATION is working for educational and socio-economical development of indigenous people ( SAONTAL ) of the village - Marchi, Block – Garhbeta – 3, District - West Midnapur, West Bengal, India. The mission of this organization is to ameliorate the downward movement of this inhabitants of the said village. Educating them means not only acquiring academic certificates with brilliant numbers but also changing their vision towards acquiring epistemology.Project Mind Formation-A school with difference
Children in the area need an education different from the contemporary that gives life-oriented education. Teachers of the school need to be from within the village, so that they can bring out the children from their houses.
Project Goal: Holistic development of 10 children each year with alternative residential support and primary schooling. This project works individually with each child, to increase their concentration, mindfulness towards education through YOGA along with providing them basic knowledge on each subject. Children are enlightened towards life skills and motivated with different learning experiences. Audio-video teaching are used to create more interest.
Requirements for the project:

- Residential school building with 2 class rooms, 1 kitchen cum dining hall, wash room.
- Each class room 20ft by 13 ft
- Kitchen cum dining hall 25ft by 13ft
- Wash room 20ft by 13 ft
- One deep tube well
- Computer and projector for audio visual teaching
- Audio system for audio-video teaching
- Human resource:
- 2 teachers and 1 Cook.

Our requirement divided into two types
- One time basis: For construction of school accommodation 460000/-( Four lacs sixty thousands only)
- Recurring basis: To run school we need 806000/- annually in which we have collected 4000/- per month i.e. 48000/- per annum. The members of the trust Mind formation are solely engaged and they are benefited by no means but bear a large part of expenditure. Though some well wishers are carrying a small part of the responsibility on a recurring basis . Without your help it will be too difficult to move in future. While the responsibility of these children i.e. food, dress, book, copy medicine, and stationary goods and salary of teachers, cook, electricity bill and the expenditure of building the school building are creating a burden on the trusty members and a few donors that we have in our organization. Collected funds will be used in two ways. 1) one time basis. 2) Recurring basis. Detailed estimate has been provided above.
