Being a NLP practitioner I have always wanted to share the knowledge of psychology to people. I have been working in the field of mental health since last 4 years and have counseled many people and have realised that people are not open to their problems and they hesitate to share due to multiple reasons, but primarily it's the stigma which holds them back.
This gave me the idea for this campaign EK SAWAL where I can reach as many people in India, where I can not only spread awareness about mental health, but to understand the reasons of holding back attitude, so that I can create an eco system around mental health and a support group system for students, specifically as they are the future of our nation and only they can help in creating a better nation.
Highlight of the campaign:
•Covering 28 states, 4 Union Territories,100 cities, 25,000 km by Two wheeler
•Support group at every college and creating a central body at every city to monitor and address students problems related to mental health.
•Press Conferences at 4 different cities.
•Distribution of 10 lac flyers mentioning the importance, symptoms and first aid of mental health in different languages.
The primary objective of the campaign are as follows:
To spread awareness about the importance of mental health.
Influence people to start talking about their issues openly without hesitation.
To create support group in every college to monitor students mental health and create uniformity amongst students.
We will use the funds in PR activities, student engagement at 100 colleges, 100 schools in India, and in travelling in 28 states and 100 cities.
